Buyer’s Brokerage, will it be mandatory?

I am going to attend a “Buyer’s Brokerage” information session on Thursday morning.  It sounds like this will be another mandatory form.  They says its on the horizon in Alberta and we are in a great position to be ahead of the curve and have a major input into the terms of reference rather than having them imposed.

First thoughts are what does a Buyer’s Brokerage contract have to with a real estate transaction?

Who will benefit from a Buyer’s Brokerage contract?

Will this push more buyers to deal with private sales, less paperwork, no privacy issues?

I will fill you in later tomorrow after I hear the benefits of this Buyer’s Brokerage Contract.

I did attend and there was not much information about buyer’s brokerage contacts but how great I am, a few stories and little humor and that’s is about it.

On a scale of 1 to 10, this information sessions a 1 because it was not too long.

When did selling and buying a house get broken?Undecided
