Home sales in the Regina area got off to a slow start in 2016, with 145 homes sold in January, down eight per cent from January 2015 when 158 sales were reported by the Association of Regina Realtors.
The number of sales last month was below both the five-year average of 194 and the 10-year average of 188 for the month.
There were 123 sales reported in the city, a decrease of nine per cent from 2015 when 135 homes were sold.
