Traffic and noise concerns are being raised about new developments going into a busy corner in northwest Regina.
Developers want to put up five new buildings around the Superstore at the corner of Rochdale Boulevard and Pasqua Street.
The 50,000-square-foot (4,617-square-metre) proposed development includes a Shoppers Drug Mart, a restaurant with a patio and three other businesses.
The proposal goes to the Regina Planning Commission later today.
A report to the commission says some neighbours are OK with the project but others have said they're worried about increased traffic and noise. Some also have concerns about the restaurant and patio.
The city says there will be a fence put up that will give people more privacy.
City council will have final say on the proposal.
