Home prices in Regina have softened, according to a report released Wednesday.

A recent house price survey showed year-over-year decreases in the average price for detached bungalows and two-storey homes in Regina, while condominium prices saw a slight increase. 

Detached bungalows dropped 5.4 per cent year-over-year to $306,500, while standard two-storey homes declined 1.8 per cent to $349,500.

Standard condominiums, meanwhile, remained relatively flat, increasing 0.7 per cent to $216,500 over the same period.

Nationally, the average price of a home in Canada rose between 3.8 per cent and 6.6 per cent year-over-year in the first quarter of 2015.  The survey says Regina's real estate market looks slower than it actually is, and there has only been a small dip in sales activity.
